Clinical study for acute onset of Pancreatitis in dogs.
Study details.
This study will evaluate the safety and effectiveness of a medication conditionally approved by the FDA for dogs who are experiencing symptoms of acute onset of pancreatitis (vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal discomfort). Dogs will be randomly assigned either study medication or placebo.
Inclusion criteria:
- Diagnosed or have a presumed diagnosis of acute pancreatitis
- At least 6 months old
Exclusion criteria:
- Pregnant, lactating or intended for breeding
- Treated with steroids

Duration of study.
Up to 3 visits over a 10-day period.
