As an emergency clinician, Dr. Holley “Jo” Eike enjoys working on new diabetes cases and the client conversations relating to this condition. She also finds wound management and laceration repair cases particularly gratifying.

Dr. Eike’s hobbies include fitness and longbow archery. She has three cats, Smokey, Thetford and Teton, and a ball python, Britney Spears.

Dr. Tiffany Granone came to BluePearl after almost five years as an assistant clinical professor of anesthesiology at the University of Florida. She has a particular interest in the use of anesthesia in critically ill patients and is the only board-certified veterinary anesthesiologist in Oklahoma.

Dr. Granone enjoys exploring the outdoors, including fishing and boating, as well as cooking and exploring different restaurants. She has three dachshunds, a Lab mix, a Caribbean Island dog and an orange tabby cat.

The fast pace of emergency and critical care medicine, as well as the diversity and complexity of the cases, are Dr. Aubrey Hnatusko’s favorite aspects of the field. Sepsis, diabetic ketoacidosis, hypoadrenocorticism, and fluid therapy are some of her clinical interests. She is the only full-time criticalist in Oklahoma.

Dr. Hnatusko loves country music, two steppin’ and cheering on the OSU Cowboys. She also enjoys running, reading, and trying new restaurants for brunch. Cade and Kenzie are her two West Highland white terriers, who are in charge of the household and keep her on her toes with their terrier antics.

Dr. Jennifer Munkres’ favorite type of veterinary work is that which truly changes a pet’s life for the better – and seeing owners elated that their beloved pet is returning home to them.

Her special interests include cytology, hematology, stabilizing and treating animals in shock and critically ill pets, all things related to ultrasounds and learning technical procedures like pericardiocentesis.

Dr. Munkres’ family includes her husband and their two cats and two dogs. She enjoys learning to play alto saxophone, exercising with her personal trainer, pistol shooting, reading and working on her fixer-upper home.

Dr. Chad Powers enjoys all aspects of emergency medicine, particularly trauma.

Dr. Rider enjoys any being around horses, reading, star gazing and volunteer work.

Dr. J.T. Walker enjoys all aspects of surgery especially orthopedic procedures like fracture repair and tibial plateau leveling osteotomy (TPLO), a procedure to stabilize a dog’s knee joint.

Dr. Walker is the medical director of our Oklahoma City hospital.
