Lisa Parshley
PhD, DVM, DACVIM (Oncology)Dr. Lisa Parshley’s veterinary background includes experience in emergency medicine. Currently, she specializes in palliative care for cancer patients including using nerve blocks to prevent pain from forming and to control disease-related pain. She works closely with clients to address low appetite and dietary needs. She has more than 20 years of experience performing ultrasounds for the diagnosis and monitoring of cancer, including:
- Ultrasound-guided needle biopsies
- Pleural tap
- Pericardial tap
- Abdominal paracentesis
Dr. Parshley pioneered nanoparticle and laser therapy to treat a variety of tumor types from mast cell to oral. She firmly believes cancer cannot wait and enjoys working with families to develop cancer protocols that provide the best care for the patient and family — including Western medicine and proven alternative therapies.
