On The Job
After working for a number of years at a primary care clinic, Dr. Cory Stamper decided he was ready to move into a field that has always fascinated him, emergency medicine. He joins his wife, Amanda, who is also an emergency clinician with our BluePearl team in Kansas City. One condition Dr. Stamper especially enjoys treating is Addison’s disease because he loves seeing patients make a 180 degree change within one to two days.
Education
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, Kansas State University, Manhattan
Bachelor of Music, Kansas State University, Manhattan
Off Duty
Dr. Stamper likes all types of outdoor activities, traveling, cooking, DIY projects and staying involved with his church. It’s no surprise, as a music major, that he also likes playing the violin. Drs. Cory and Amanda Stamper have two sons who alternate between being cute and driving them crazy. The family dog, Blanco Mendez, is a yellow lab/pit bull mix and was once featured on the front page of the Kansas State University newspaper running on a wall while Dr. Stamper ran beside him.
