Dog thrown from moving vehicle being treated at BluePearl in Queens

20141121_093542NEW YORK – A dog that was allegedly thrown from a moving vehicle Thursday evening is being treated at BluePearl Veterinary Partners in Queens.

The approximately 6-year-old female Rottweiler, named Dasher by the team at BluePearl, was reportedly found near Cypress Avenue and Vermont Place Thursday evening. Firefighters assisted Dasher and a news crew from the Daily News transported her to BluePearl.

Dasher is currently receiving oxygen therapy, heat support, IV fluids and anti-seizure medication. She is scheduled to have full body X-rays this afternoon.
