Dr. Andrea Aplasca is a licensed veterinary technician with experience in zoo, wildlife and small animal medicine. She’s studied endangered parrots in Costa Rica, wild turtle populations in New York, and endangered iguana populations in the Caribbean, the subject of her master’s thesis. Dr. Aplasca joined BluePearl to extend her formal training in veterinary medicine through a one-year internship in small animal medicine and surgery during which she will gain in-depth exposure to multiple veterinary specialties under the guidance of our senior doctors.
