Anesthesiology & Pain Management
Specialist, Board Certified in Veterinary Anesthesia & Analgesia
On The Job
A native of Westchester NY, Dr. Elizabeth Goudie-DeAngelis is thrilled to be back in NY. She can’t remember not wanting to be a veterinarian. Her mother tells her that there was a brief stint when she was five that she considered becoming a ballerina, but that was short-lived. As a veterinarian with advanced training in anesthesia and pain management, she knows the value to a patient’s recovery of a well formulated treatment plan, and she enjoys educating other veterinarians on how best to formulate those plans. Dr. Goudie-DeAngelis’ favorite cases are the challenging critical ones, such as shock, hemorrhage and electrolyte abnormalities.

During her residency, Dr. Goudie-DeAngelis volunteered providing meals at Ronald McDonald House and to public school children. Her hobbies include running, restoring historic houses, reading fiction, cooking and gardening. She and her husband have a mixed breed dog with only 9 teeth left, leading to a propensity to stick her tongue out, and two domestic shorthair cats, an orange and white female that does whatever she wants and a tortie that talks non-stop.
