On The Job
Dr. Lindsey Ackert participated in a number of research projects during vet school including a CT imaging study with rats, evaluation of stress levels in bucking stock at the famous Calgary Stampede, water use in aggressive bucking horses, detection of ambulatory changes in dogs, and comparison of venous and intraosseous blood in dogs. She joined BluePearl to complete a one-year internship in small animal medicine and surgery to further her education and training as a practicing veterinarian.

Dr. Ackert loves traveling and exploring new places. She has a passion for just about any hobby that allows her to visit the Rocky Mountains, including hiking, camping and snowshoeing. Her furry companion is a pit bull named Knoxx who she fell in love with at first sight her first year of vet school.
