Jesse Bullock, DVM, DACVECC
Specialist, Board Certified in Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care
On The Job
Dr. Jesse Bullock joined BluePearl with many years of experience in the veterinary field, as a kennel assistant, technician and primary care and emergency veterinarian. Her love of logic puzzles and problem solving led her to the field of emergency and critical care where she says the reward for figuring out the riddle is sending home a happy pet. While she enjoys the classic emergency cases – meat bones stuck in lower jaws, male cats with urinary issues, and even vomiting and diarrhea – she really likes toxicity cases and finds it amazing how many methods exist for treating them.
Diplomate, American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care
Residency, Emergency and Critical Care, University of Florida, Gainesville
Internship, Small Animal Medicine and Surgery, VCA Veterinary Referral Associates, Gaithersburg MD
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, Texas A&M University, College Station
Bachelor of Science, Biochemistry, University of Texas at Dallas, Richardson
Dr. Bullock likes to unwind with simple, quiet hobbies – reading the latest science fiction/fantasy, trying new recipes and quilting. She has two cats, Killer, a docile longhaired lap cat who loves chasing moths and spiders, and John Doe, a chubby orange tabby with a stub tail who loves making noise and getting into trouble.
