Lauren Devine, DVM, DACVIM-SAIM
Specialist, Board Certified in Small Animal Internal Medicine
On The Job
Dr. Lauren Devine always knew she wanted to practice medicine, and her additional love for animals drew her to veterinary medicine; the complexity nature of cases drew her to the internal medicine field. She finds it gratifying to treat and manage chronic urinary disease, gastrointestinal disease and endocrine diseases such as hyperadrenocortism, but she especially loves laser ablation therapy and diagnosing conditions with endoscopic procedures.
Diplomate, American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine-Small Animal Internal Medicine
Residency, Small Animal Internal Medicine, North Carolina State University, Raleigh
Internship, Small Animal Medicine and Surgery, University of Minnesota, St. Paul
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, Kansas State University, Manhattan
Bachelor of Science, Agribusiness, Arizona State University, Mesa
Dr. Devine has volunteered with raptor rehabilitation programs and the Arizona Humane Society. Her favorite pastime is reading, and she admits to having too many books and not enough bookshelves. She also loves to travel and hike with her dogs, Scout, a too-smart lab mix, and Halley, a pit bull mix who is the happiest dog ever. Dragon, Wolf and Yossarian are her three cats. Wolf is the loner, but Dragon and Yossarian act like Batman and Robin, constantly getting into trouble together.
