Our BluePearl North Seattle cardiologists are board-certified diplomates in cardiology of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine who have extensive experience and skill treating all types of cardiovascular problems in pets.
Through advanced diagnostics, custom treatment plans, specialized care and long-term management strategies, our cardiology team diagnoses and treats congenital and acquired heart diseases, arrhythmias, and congestive heart failure, all with the goal of improving the quality of life in pets with heart disease.
Our cardiologists are dedicated and compassionate experts who strive to provide remarkable care for cardiac patients. Our team uses cardiac ultrasound (ECG), contrast studies, short- and long-term EKG, and blood pressure analysis to make advanced diagnoses and develop treatment options that meet your goals for your pet.
Client communication and education is a key component of our cardiac team’s treatment strategy. We work to educate owners on all aspects of heart disease in pets including medications, ongoing monitoring and risks of treatment. Ongoing communication with the family veterinarian is also essential to help monitor and manage the progression of the disease. These steps are all taken to ensure consistent care.
Cardiology services offered include:
Management of patients with a range of cardiac conditions including congenital heart abnormalities, valvular disease, dilated cardiomyopathy, pericardial issues and rhythm disturbances
Echocardiography, electrocardiography (diagnostic and Holter monitoring) and thoracic radiography procedures performed to evaluate heart structures and function
Development of treatment plans focused on sustaining quality of life in patients with heart disease
The cardiology team receives clients five days per week for consultations and appointments.
