Elizabeth Mansi, DVM
Senior Clinician, Emergency Medicine
On The Job
Dr. Elizabeth Mansi always knew that she wanted to be a veterinarian and took every step needed from an early age to make it happen, volunteering at a veterinary hospital in high school then receiving a full veterinary scholarship from the United States Army. She served on active duty for five years in the Army Veterinary Corps in New Mexico and Naples, Italy, then four more years as a civilian veterinarian for the Army in Virginia and Germany. Her primary responsibilities included caring for military working dogs and the pets of service members. Dr. Mansi’s clinical interests include emergency surgery because she finds it gratifying to perform, and radiology, ultrasound and cytology because they are diagnostics that give you answers quickly.
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, North Carolina State University, Raleigh
Bachelor of Science, Biology and Spanish, Binghamton University, State University of NY
An avid traveler, Dr. Mansi took advantage of the six years she lived in Europe. She also worked on military bases in Japan, South Korea, Spain and Sicily, so she was able to explore those areas as well. Joining BluePearl in Washington, she is excited to be able to explore the Pacific Northwest for the first time. She and her husband, Aaron, have two adopted dogs, a long-haired Chihuahua named Lucas, and a miniature schnauzer mix named Zoë.
