Jessica Yousif, DVM
On The Job
Dr. Jessica Yousif loves being the advocate for her patients. Her day-to-day motivation comes from the unpredictability of cases seen in the emergency room and her desire to communicate the treatment options with her clients, so they are able to choose the best course of action for their pet.
Internship, Small Animal Medicine & Surgery, Monroe Veterinary Associates, Rochester NY
Clinical Rotation, University of Florida, Gainesville
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, St. George’s University, True Blue, Grenada
Bachelor of Science, Animal Ecology, Iowa State University, Ames
Dr. Yousif’s favorite pastimes include photography, soccer, weight lifting and creative writing. She is an avid sports fan, and having grown up in Chicago, it’s no surprise that she is a die-hard fan of the Chicago Blackhawks, Cubs, Bears and Bulls. Her pets include Shandy, a greyhound who retired from racing, and Roti, a domestic medium hair cat whose congenital peritoneal-pericardial diaphragmatic hernia (PPDH) was successfully repaired.
