On The Job
Dr. Fultz worked and externed at numerous small animal general and referral practices, as well as in the comparative medicine department at Johns Hopkins University. Although he loved the medicine, science and potential for groundbreaking discoveries in the comparative medicine field, he found that treating a pet, a family member, was where he felt most rewarded. After completing a one-year small animal medicine and surgery internship, Dr. Fultz is pursuing advanced training in cardiology. This will enable him to further develop his ability to diagnose and treat cardiology cases.
