Chaos Received Compassionate Care

Our beloved sheltie, Chaos, had many visits to your specialty hospital, even hospitalizations with complete recoveries. When we brought her to the ER and Dr. Nix on a Sunday afternoon we had no idea that the sudden onset of respiratory distress would be a terminal condition.

Abnormal x-rays showed a serious condition and she was put on oxygen to relieve her discomfort. Dr. Walker, in the critical care service, took over the next morning and gave a complete assessment of the situation. Treatments and plans were given and we were involved in all updates and decisions. We are very grateful for the help and care received, and the compassion at the end for our special “little person.”
