One of the greatest feelings we felt was the comfort of actually talking directly to the doctors who were observing/testing our 12-year-old dog, Dexter, throughout our entire experience.
We rarely spoke to technicians (which were all very friendly, too), and it was the doctor who came into the room or personally made the phone calls. We felt that Dr. Mears was extremely compassionate, showed great concern and was very understanding when listening to our needs. We almost felt that he, too, was saddened by our outcome.
Although all the tests and love in the world couldn’t save our wonderful dog, it remains comforting to know that he was in the hands of a very gentle and caring professional named Dr. Erick Mears.
