My lab had a horrendous nosebleed that would not stop. The BluePearl emergency staff were right on top of things, took care of my lab (and me), and explained all actions and options (and costs) thoroughly, with a recommendation that I felt was best.
Another vet had taken me through the steps during a nosebleed many months prior, but that vet left me wondering if they knew what they were doing. They did not seem to know what to recommend and were looking at me to decide. It was easy to decide after advice at BluePearl.
While waiting for procedures to be completed, I noticed their “thank you” board was loaded with cards, all but one coming from women, most of whom pets had been put to sleep. So I just want to add a guy’s view, one whose pet is still constantly begging for doggie biscuits, to say that the Ann Arbor BluePearl is definitely the place to take your pet. Ironically, my roommate is there right now with his dog who has a spot where fur is falling out due to a topical infection.
