Riley is Back to Hunting After Being Hit by a Car

Memorial Day weekend 2012 our Gordon Setter was hit by a car on north US-23 while she was in Whitmore Lake for bird dog training. The accident left Riley paralyzed and her brain had swelling and numerous other issues, but she survived thanks to the immediate and excellent care from BluePearl!

We lived 90 miles away from the training center and were devastated to hear about the accident. The doctors and staff at BluePearl were very helpful and explained her care options and gave us updates during numerous phone calls. It was a  tense couple of days but since BluePearl  has a doctor in the office 24 hours a day (and they have extensive trauma experience), we were able to get  immediate options so our beloved pet could survive an otherwise un-survivable  event.

We were so lucky BluePearl was the only available option that day for the trainer. Now, a year later as this picture shows, Riley is back in the hunting fields doing what she loves thanks to all the staff and expert care from BluePearl. I have recommended BluePearl to all my friends with pets.
