Wanted to say thanks, again, for your caring ways with the loss of our Floyd this past Monday. He battled diabetes the last 5 months, but we just couldn’t get the sugar levels figured out. I got Floyd from a friend in 2000 when I was between marriages, so he’s been there through a lot with me and my family. Since his passing, I’ve thought about how, aside from my 2 great step kids, Steven and Mary, Floyd is the next closest thing I’ve ever known to having a child of my own. I’ve had other pets in my 53 years, but he was the first one I’ve “raised” and had to let go. I got him at about 6 months, and said goodbye 15 years later on January 25th. It’s crazy and amazing how our pets can become such blessings in our lives. He was the best little furry buddy I could’ve asked for, and we’ll miss him very much. Time heals all things, and we’re already thinking about getting another orange tabby.
