Vacationers’ Collapsed Yorkie is Revived

Two hours after arriving to Tampa (we are from Puerto Rico) our five-pound mini yorkie collapsed. Since we were out of town and did not know where to go, we checked out GPS and it provided a nearby vet’s office. It was 9 p.m. and their office was closed, however they provided the BluePearl phone number.

Even though I’m fully bilingual, I was a nervous reck and couldn’t make myself clear. Thank God that the receptionist was Hispanic and spoke Spanish.  She was very sweet and told me to calm down and provided us the address. Upon arrival my fur baby was immediately rushed inside. In less than 15-20 minutes, the doctor came to us and provided a preliminary diagnosis and proceeded to treat our baby.

When discharged we were given special food, meds and written instructions. A copy of x-rays and blood work were provided too. Our vet in Puerto Rico was very impressed with the thoroughness of the medical report and certain diagnosis.

Outstanding personnel and service. Highly recommended. Thank you.
