Our animal hospital is dedicated to providing advanced cancer care, using state-of-the-art oncology treatments and radiation therapy to enhance your pet’s quality of life.
We understand that seeing your pet experience unusual symptoms or act out of the ordinary can be stressful – especially if you don’t know what’s wrong. Our veterinary oncology team consists of board certified specialists skilled in diagnosing and treating cancer through advanced techniques, including radiation therapy, to help your pet.
Our commitment is not just to treat illnesses; it’s to enhance the well-being of your pet and be with you every step of the way.
If your pet has been diagnosed with cancer, our entire oncology team, including our veterinary radiation oncologists, are ready to deliver specialized care to enhance your pet’s quality of life.
Your pet will receive unparalleled medical care during their time at the hospital (and they’ll be spoiled with love and attention, too).
Since pets communicate differently, we use advanced diagnostic imaging tools to identify tumors and plan effective treatment strategies, including radiation therapy.
Just as no two patients are the same, neither are their treatment plans. Our oncology team is experienced in utilizing the latest technology for advanced procedures, including surgical interventions and targeted radiation treatment.
Experience makes all the difference.
Our oncology team is made up of veterinarians, vet technicians and assistants, and support staff with rigorous training and experience in specialty medicine. The team works hand in hand to provide the comprehensive, compassionate care your pet needs and deserves. Because we’re a multidisciplinary hospital, the team can consult the expertise of other specialty departments, too.
Dr. Kristina Anderson enjoys treating hematologic malignancies such as lymphoma, leukemia or multiple myeloma. She finds it gratifying to use multi-modal therapy (surgery, radiation and chemotherapy) to help her patients but also finds it highly satisfying to see tumor response with chemotherapy alone.
Dr. Anderson met her husband, also a veterinarian, during vet school. They have a chihuahua mix named Petey and three cats: Marshall, Cricket and Karen. Dr. Anderson also has a horse named Harley who she enjoys spending time with and casually competes in local hunter/jumper shows. She loves chickens, quails and other types of poultry and hopes to build her own backyard flock one day.
Dr. Kelsey Duggan is a resident in our radiation oncology service. She is most interested in brain and spinal tumors.
Dr. Angela Kozicki has a strong interest in translational and comparative oncology.
Dr. Kozicki enjoys reading a good book, running, yoga and spending time with her family, including her cat, Freddie Forcefield, and potcake dog, Reggae.
Dr. Leanne Magestro’s special interests include feline solitary site lymphoma, canine osteosarcoma and oncology of exotic and farm animals.
Dr. Magestro enjoys traveling to new places, hiking in the mountains, and snuggling with her tiny dog.
We want you to be prepared for your pet’s visit to the oncologist, so you have one less thing to worry about. Our entire BluePearl team will be with you every step of the way.
