Dr. Kaleigh Peters is most interested in advanced minimally invasive surgery, complex wound management, fracture repair and oncologic surgery. She finds it very important to make sure her clients and their pets are comfortable and well-informed prior to moving forward with surgery.

When Dr. Peters isn’t at work, she spends time with her family and friends. She enjoys sand volleyball, snowboarding and mountain biking.

Making an appointment.

Our surgery team is available by appointment, with or without a referral from your pet’s primary veterinarian. Each consultation and operation are a personal, unique experience in our surgical suite.

Here is what to expect before, during and after your first visit:

  • An initial appointment can be made by calling the hospital directly or via a referral from your pet's primary vet.
  • We will obtain records from your primary or emergency vet before your first visit. Prior to your visit, we will collaborate with your primary vet to discuss your pet’s history and current condition.
  • When you arrive, our team will do an exam and additional diagnostics as needed.
  • We will discuss your pet's diagnosis and condition thoroughly in person. You will have an opportunity to ask as many questions as needed.
  • Our team will provide a detailed treatment plan, along with discharge instructions and recommended medications. A recheck appointment will be scheduled, and you’ll be advised of symptoms to watch for at home.
  • Our team is available by email or phone for any concerns or follow-up questions after your visit.
