We had to bring our cat Seamus here for surgery after he broke his leg, and the service from start to finish was top tier.  From the front desk, to all the techs, Dr. Leasure, plus everyone we spoke to on the phone every single person we dealt with was so friendly and caring.  We will always recommend Skylos to anyone in need of an orthopedic surgeon!

Our experience with Dr. Lotsikas was great! My dog underwent a total hip replacement and he was extremely helpful and kind throughout the entire process. My dog’s healing process was extremely straightforward and easy, the PT exercises were easy to follow, and she is now able to do everything she wants to do without restriction. I would make this choice a thousand times again.

My dog was treated with such great care after her surgery and we were able to check on her progress 24/7. Dr. Fink is amazing! He's such a personable and professional surgeon that gives a thorough diagnosis and honest prognosis. Very trustworthy!

We've had 2 golden retrievers that required TPLO surgery and thankfully, we were referred to Skylos. Excellent customer service, kept us informed with cost, procedure and staff sent texts/pics after the surgery until we picked them up. Dr. Kennedy is the best!

Our 3yr old Rottie needed knee surgery and Skylos came highly recommended. Great experience from very 1st phone conversation thru discharge after surgery. Dr.Hummel was extremely thorough explaining how the operation would be done and post-op. Also, the overnight crew put us at ease by sending us pictures and text updates.

Skylos has been amazing through our entire experience so far. We brought our dog in with a suspected CCL and meniscus tear. From our initial consultation through surgery, Dr. Hummel and his staff were very thorough and informative, to ensure we understood our pet's injury, treatment and possible outcomes. During the surgery process itself communication was great. Since our dog had to stay overnight, their night staff sent picture updates and were available via text/call if we wanted to check in. We were nervous about post-surgical care but Skylos provided us with detailed step-by-step instructions which has helped ease our nerves. I cannot recommend them enough!!

My dog injured her CCL- and needed surgery. My girl is very, very anxious. Prior to coming to Skylos I was turned down by another vet, saying they couldn’t handle a dog like mine in their facility. Skylos worked with us every step of the way to make sure my anxious girl was accommodated, and did the best they could to ease her nervousness. All of the staff from front desk, to vet techs and doctors were amazingly kind and patient. Everything is thoroughly explained, all questions answered quickly. I could not be more pleased with our experience.

From the first initial consultation to days after the surgery these guys exceeded expectations. I only say days because it hasn’t been a week since his surgery and they’ve already checked in multiple times post op. They truly understand that your animals are apart of your family. Wouldn’t recommend anyone else!

Staff worked quickly to review my cat's files thoroughly and get him in for surgery. They provided detailed information about his surgery and care. Over night staff sent text updates. The surgeon was available outside of office hours to answer a concerned call from me. Overall they could not do one more thing to be over and above expectations.

I had an amazing experience here, despite the unfortunate reason that had us referred. My 6 month old BC needed an arthroscopy for shoulder OCD. Dr. Lotsikas was kind, informative, and thorough with his explanation for everything that would be done. All of the technicians and front staff were friendly and also created a positive visit for us. Dr. Lotsikas was considerate of the long drive from out of state and was able to accommodate us all in one day. I am super thankful for the Skylos team and would definitely recommend them.

Had a very good experience with our dog needing surgery on his knee. Dr. Kennedy is great and he and the staff are all super competent and friendly. Felt our dog was in good hands and is healing really nicely. Recovery directions were explained well and easy to follow. 

My 12 year old pup Kahlua had a TPLO preformed in December & I can’t say enough how great my experience was. I will always recommend Skylos & Dr. Hummel. They gave my girl her spunk back & now she’s enjoying her long walks & hikes again. Thank you to Skylos & their incredible staff. 

Hands down the BEST around. Took my cat Priya here after fracturing her left femoral head a week ago. Skylos was so helpful with the process from start to finish. I’m a veterinarian and can attest to this being the best speciality orthopedic hospital. I would take my pets here any day. They had consistent communication, the techs and front desk were helpful and timely. Dr. Hummel was SO AMAZING, and provided reassurance along the way. They even sent me photos of her while she was hospitalized overnight. Also giving her cat TV to watch while she recovered, which she loves. 10/10 and highly recommend for your pets! 

The team at Skylos are unmatched. We had our dog Ollie go in for a CCL Surgery this morning. Prior to the surgery, the techs, and doctors were incredibly thorough and responsive. After the surgery, Randi and Caitlin with the overnight team sent us a wonderful update on how he’s doing and their plan for the evening with a photo of our boy. They truly care for your pets and it shows.
