Founded in 2017 at Veterinary Specialty Hospital of the Carolinas, Dr. Lindsey Bullen’s clinical nutrition service provides nutritional recommendations for over 1,000 patients per year. Her special interests include assisted feeding, treating multiple disease states, and weight loss in dogs and cats.

As one of the roughly 100 board-certified veterinary nutritionists in the U.S., Dr. Bullen has a strong passion for teaching and education. She is an adjunct professor at Lincoln Memorial University and devotes a lot of time to training veterinary students, interns, and residents. She also participates in BluePearl’s emERge program, which focuses on emergency medicine mentorship, as an expert speaker.

Prior to becoming a veterinary radiologist, Dr. Knapp worked as an emergency clinician and she still as an “ER spirit.” She likes using imaging to diagnose emergency conditions like foreign bodies and abscess. She finds cancer imaging particularly gratifying.

Dr. Sarita Miles was selected as the nation’s first clinical fellow in veterinary neurology & neurosurgery at Colorado State University, where she stayed on as faculty. She is passionate about case management, building connections with clients and patients and taking a “hands on” approach to veterinary neurology & neurosurgery. She is certified in disc arthroplasty and neurosurgery.

Dr. Miles’ special interests include acute intervertebral disc disease, inflammatory diseases of the central nervous system and traumatic brain injury.
