Our oncology team is made up of veterinarians, vet technicians and assistants, and support staff with rigorous training and experience in specialty medicine. The team works hand in hand to provide the comprehensive, compassionate care your pet needs and deserves. Because we’re a multidisciplinary hospital, the team can consult the expertise of other specialty departments, too.
Dr. Luis Lembcke has diverse experience in the field of veterinary oncology. His professional areas of interest include immunotherapy, melanocytic tumors, urothelial tumors, electrochemotherapy, small animal cystoscopy and equine oncology. He is passionate about teaching and research, with his most notable publications evaluating the melanoma vaccine for dogs, horses and even African penguins. Dr. Lembcke continues to deliver oncology lectures at his former veterinary school in Peru.
When not at work, Dr. Lembcke enjoys spending time with his wife, going to the beach, surfing, reading, playing soccer and spending time with his pets.
