Thank You

As we start a new year, we want to thank you once again for your partnership. We truly value the trust you’ve placed in us.

Your feedback is essential

Every year we ask you, our referring veterinary practices, to complete an annual survey to help us better serve the needs of your team, your clients, and their pets. We recently completed this  year’s survey, and I wanted to personally thank all of you who took the time to respond. Because of the changing landscape our industry experienced in 2020, we modified our approach for the survey, focusing on COVID-19 challenges and ways that BluePearl can help in the months ahead.

The survey confirmed some of what we already knew. An overwhelming majority of pDVMs have experienced an increase in patient visits compared to a year ago. Nearly half of the respondents indicated they have noticed a change in the types of care during COVID-19 and were seeing more sick/emergent cases, as well as experiencing an increase in new patients.

We will continue to provide as much support as possible to our referral partners and their patients.

Continuing education goes virtual

In this year’s survey, we also wanted feedback about ourlive” continuing education presentations. Most pDVMs expressed interest in BluePearl virtual continuing education events and the most commonly cited topics were internal medicine, emergency medicine and critical care. Going forward, we will strive to create virtual events that are both appealing and timely for the types of cases pDVMs are seeing.

Technology to keep us connected

Just as our CEs have gone virtual, so have many of our consultations. Our doctors are always happy to discuss cases and this technology helps us work together to achieve our goal:  remarkable care for pets. Now more than ever, our online, always-available BluePearl Portal is the best way to get information quickly and easily about your patients. The Portal is also the easiest way to refer a patient to BluePearl. Best of all, you can also download the BluePearl app to your mobile device to access the Portal.

Questions?

If you missed our survey and would like to give us feedback or have a question about the Portal or our services, feel free to reach out to your veterinary relations representative or hospital leadership. We’re all here to help.

Stay safe and stay well.
