Our surgery team is made up of veterinarians, vet technicians and assistants, and support staff with rigorous training and experience in specialty medicine. The team works hand in hand to provide the comprehensive, compassionate care your pet needs and deserves. Because we’re a multidisciplinary hospital, the team can consult the expertise of other specialty departments, too.
Dr. Matthew Cleveland is particularly interested in juvenile canine orthopedic conditions, including hip and elbow dysplasia, angular limb deformity, traumatic fractures, cranial cruciate ligament injuries (TPLO and closing-wedge osteotomies), minimally invasive joint explore (arthroscopy) and surgical oncology.
Dr. Cleveland enjoys fishing, reading, skiing, surfing and hiking. He and his wife have two pit bulls, Madelyn and Archer, and a cat named Dizzy.
Dr. Mikaela Gondolfe’s clinical interests include fracture repair, soft tissue surgery, particularly involving the hepatobiliary system, wound management and small animal pain management.
Dr. Gondolfe enjoys yoga, cycling, coloring, watching most sports, especially basketball, and spending time with her significant other and Goldendoodle.
Dr. Crystal Sunlight provides advanced surgical care for pets. Her special interests in veterinary surgery include minimally invasive surgery, surgical oncology and trauma and fracture repair.
Outside of work, Dr. Sunlight enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending time with her family and pets.
