Michael Villanueva

Dr. Michael Villanueva remembers when his family dog was hit by a car; he was six years old. The veterinarian made such an impression on him that he decided to become a veterinarian. He worked at a local primary care veterinary clinic in high school and for six years as an emergency and intensive care unit technician at the veterinary hospital at Texas A&M University, an experience that set him on the path to becoming an emergency clinician. He is particularly interested in toxicity and trauma cases.
