Referrals by Specialty

When you have a complicated case requiring special expertise or equipment to diagnose and treat, we’re here to help. Our hospital is equipped with advanced tools and diagnostics, and our specialists are available by referral.

We accept referrals for the following areas:

Internal Medicine vs. Critical Care

Our Internal Medicine and Critical Care specialists are ready to help with your complicated cases, from same-day emergency transfers to scheduled appointments. If you have a case requiring the expertise of one of our specialists, please read on to learn more about the referral process for both stable and unstable patients.

About Critical Care Referrals

If you have a patient in critical condition and in need of a same-day emergency transfer, please call to speak with one of our Criticalists to describe the condition prior to or during the transfer. This helps us ensure we are prepared to take on the case and help guide you through the process and manage the pet owner’s expectations.

For more stable patients, our Internal Medicine specialists are available by appointment with a referral.

About Internal Medicine Referrals

If you have a sick patient that is in stable condition and can wait for an appointment, you can refer the case to one of our Internal Medicine specialists.
