Dr. Jordan graduated from The Royal Veterinary College (RVC) in London, England followed by two years in primary care small animal practice. Dr. Jordan returned to The RVC to undertake rotating then surgical internships. Dr. Jordan completed his surgical training at a busy private clinic in England which led to him becoming a Specialist in Small Animal Surgery.
After finishing his surgical training, Dr. Jordan spent a number of years at Fitzpatrick Referrals, England which has an extremely high orthopedic case load and an international reputation for excellence and innovation in small animal orthopedics. Whilst at Fitzpatrick Referrals, Dr. Jordan gained exposure to a high number of routine, complex and tertiary referral surgical cases along with having access to some of the most advanced surgical equipment and procedures currently available.
Prior to joining VSCP, Dr. Jordan spent four years as Head of Surgery at a referral clinic in BC, Canada where he provided referral surgical services to patients all over BC and beyond.
Dr. Jordan has a particular interest in stifle arthroscopy, TPLO, and fracture management.

Dr. Jordan enjoys all outdoor activities, particularly skiing. He became a fully qualified firefighter after training in Canada, where he worked on-call for a local fire department. Dr. Jordan is yet to explore whether he can take up a similar role in Portland.
