Skylos dog Sulley

Collaborative care.
A partnership you can trust.

As a primary veterinarian, you are a valued part of our community. Through trusted collaboration, open communication and a shared commitment to patient care, we work alongside you to support your patients when advanced care is needed.

Skylos is here to extend the care you provide, treating your patients and clients with the same compassion, respect and dedication they have come to expect from your team while keeping you informed throughout their care.

Referrals.

While referrals aren’t required for patients to see us, we deeply value our partnerships with primary care veterinarians. We’re committed to working collaboratively to ensure the highest standard of care for every patient.

If you’d like to discuss a case prior to the patient’s consult, please include a note when the referral is made. You can also request an estimate of possible costs to share with your client.

We will contact your hospital staff once the appointment has been scheduled to request patient medical record, including lab tests and radiographs.

Emergency referrals.

We will make every effort to accommodate emergency patients. If we’re unable to meet the expectations or needs of the client in an appropriate time frame, we can help with case management over the phone or offer alternative referral options.
