Our neurology team is made up of veterinarians, vet technicians and assistants, and support staff with rigorous training and experience in specialty medicine. The team works hand in hand to provide the comprehensive, compassionate care your pet needs and deserves. Because we’re a multidisciplinary hospital, the team can consult the expertise of other specialty departments, too.
Dr. Stephanie Clooten is a resident in our neurology service. Her clinical interests include intervertebral disc disease and inflammatory diseases of the brain and spinal cord.
In her free time, Dr. Clooten enjoys hiking and spending as much time outside as possible. She and her husband share a golden retriever named Phoebe and a cat named Bug.
Dr. Matthew Cluett is a resident in our neurology service.
Married to a dairy veterinarian, Dr. Cluett and his wife enjoy hiking, camping, movies and games. The couple has two dogs, Buddy and Robin; three cats, Gabby, Grif and Ghira; and two quarter horses, Red and Justice.
Dr. Jared Galle’s primary interests include intervertebral disk disease, spinal trauma, wobbler syndrome, inflammatory brain disease and developmental brain abnormalities (hydrocephalus and Chiari malformation).
Dr. Matthew Holahan’s primary interests include intervertebral disc disease, seizure disorders, head trauma, inflammatory nervous system disorders and tumors of the nervous system.
Dr. Holahan enjoys hiking, horseback riding, traveling and working on his small hobby farm.
Dr. Andrew Isaacs’ primary interests include intervertebral disk disease, seizure management, luxations/fractures of the spine and surgery for brain tumors.
Dr. Roberto James (R.J.) Palma’s primary interests include spinal surgery for intervertebral disc disease, vertebral stabilization, neurosurgical oncology, traumatic brain injuries and seizure management.
Dr. Palma has a miniature long-haired dachshund named Dexter.
Dr. Lindsey Porter is a resident in our neurology service. She is particularly interested in movement disorders.
Dr. Porter was born and raised in Michigan, so she was happy to move back, along with her fiancé and their dog and cat.
Dr. Kaitlyn Wachtel is a resident in our neurology service. Her clinical interests include seizure disorders and inflammatory and infectious brain diseases.
In her free time, Dr. Wachtel enjoys scuba diving, traveling, knitting and reading. She has a domestic longhair named Mimosa that she rescued from the United Kingdom while she was in school there.
Dr. Natalia Wycislak is a resident in our neurology service. She is particularly interested in feline neurology – both medical and surgical conditions.
Dr. Wycislak loves being outside, wildlife watching and horseback trail riding. She has a ragdoll cat named Todd who has been with her throughout veterinary school and her internships.
