Stephanie Brock
DVMDr. Stephanie Brock’s clinical interests include polytrauma, analgesia and geriatric care. She enjoys the variety of cases she sees in the emergency department, a passion that began during a mentorship program where she developed a strong foundation in emergency medicine, clinical decision-making and collaborate practice. She has continued to grow as a confident, skilled and reliable leader within the emergency team.

Originally from New York, Dr. Brock met her husband while attending veterinary school. They later relocated to Northeast Wisconsin, where they established their family and professional careers. Outside of the hospital, Dr. Brock enjoys reading, hobby farming, cooking and photography. She cherishes spending time with her husband and their three daughters.

Kali Goldapske-Malis
DVMDr. Kali Goldapske-Malis is particularly interested in treating trauma, including lacerations and hit-by-car cases. As an emergency clinician, she is working to return pets to health so they can go home with their loved ones.
She has experience educating the police K9 community and performing veterinary exams on these canines. Also, she has spent time in Haiti training veterinary agents to perform routine medical exams and procedures on horses, cattle, pigs, dogs and cats. She has treated approximately 1,500 animals in rural Haiti over the past three years.

Ruth Peters
DVMDr. Ruth Peters brings extensive experience in both general practice and emergency services as well as acupuncture. Her passion is pain control in its various and changing forms, and she finds treating toxicities and inappropriate ingestions very gratifying.

At home in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, Dr. Stretton enjoys life with his wife and two dogs – Levi, a spirited border collie, and Frank, a rescued Golden Retriever with a heart of gold. Outside of the hospital, he can often be found outdoors fishing the region’s lakes and rivers, hiking wooded trails, kayaking along the shoreline or mountain biking the many trails the UP has to offer.

DVM, CVADr. Samantha VandeHey fell in love with emergency medicine during her internship and works hard to provide excellent care guided with compassion in moments of distress for pet families. Her clinical interests include working with patients in the ICU who need detailed therapy that can change hour by hour.
