Janice Buback

Dr. Janice Buback became board certified by the American College of Veterinary Surgeons in 1997. She provides orthopedic, soft tissue and minimally invasive surgery, including laparoscopy and thoracoscopy procedures.

Dr. Buback is passionate about using her surgical skills to help pets with:

  • Arthritis, laryngeal paralysis and severe ear infections
  • Elbow or hip dysplasia, cryptorchid testicles and cleft palates
  • Brachycephalic airway disease and ectopic ureters
  • Foreign body ingestion and gastric dilatation volvulus (bloat)
  • Fractures, ligament and tendon injuries, bite wounds and gunshot wounds

For pets with cancer, Dr. Buback and her surgery team work closely with the oncology service to provide the best treatment and care.

Dr. Elke Rudloff provides holistic comfort care, individualized pain management and gentle euthanasia services in the home. She finds it highly rewarding to bring a family together that may be at odds about the quality of life of their beloved pet. She is grateful for the impact she has on her patients and their families when she can mitigate the pain and discomfort that come with acute and chronic illness and injury. The best way she knows how to use her specialized skills is by creating a peaceful and gentle passing for a beloved pet in the comfort of their home.
