Dr. Baumbarger likes to ride horses, crochet, garden and train/compete in canine agility with her dogs. She lives with her husband, a conservation officer with the Department of Natural Resources, and their son. The family includes two Labradors, Jill and Cassie; border collie, Arlo; two cats, Sunny D and Ryder; and on occasion, cattle and horses.

Dr. Kobluk's favorite pastimes include raising and showing American quarter horses, canine obedience and being a hockey mom. She and her husband, who is also a veterinarian, have six children, Irish wolfhound Rascal, Chihuahuas Max and Miguel, and cat Wheelbarrow.
