As an internal medicine specialist, Dr. Mears is passionate about providing the best possible care for pets. Part of that passion is delivering a broad range of medically advanced services, including radioactive iodine (I-131) therapy for cats with hyperthyroidism.

Dr. Michael Reems is particularly interested in surgical oncology – including cancer removal and reconstruction – as well as minimally invasive procedures such as arthroscopy, laparoscopy, and thoracoscopy. Some of the procedures he performs include:

Dr. Eric van Eerde’s particular interests include hand-on modalities such as ultrasound, as well as building relationships with referring veterinarians through telemedicine. He also enjoys working with a variety of animals and feels fortunate to have been able to take images of a number of species at the local zoo during his residency.
