Anemone Andronescu
DVMDr. Anemone Andronescu found her passion for veterinary medicine in high school while working at a local animal clinic. Throughout her education, she pursued many unique opportunities such as studying in the Caribbean and working in South Africa alongside a wildlife veterinarian.
Dr. Andronescu particularly enjoys minimally invasive surgery as it allows for a faster recovery.

Dr. Andronescu was born in Bucharest, Romania where she grew up during some hard times before immigrating to New York City at 12.
In her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with her husband and their three dogs: boxer Mica, Rottweiler Kane, and coconut retriever Zeus.
William Brewer
DVM, DACVIM (SAIM), DACVIM (Oncology)Dr. Bill Brewer has years of experience working in specialty hospitals and educating others, including a year as a guest lecturer at the University of California, Davis and 16 years as an assistant professor at Auburn University. He remembers becoming an oncologist when the focus was on offering therapy for what was thought of as an untreatable problem. Today, he solves new mysteries every day. Dr. Brewer’s clinical interests include ultrasound, chemotherapy and interpreting lab work.

Dr. Brewer likes making small home repairs, gardening, reading and spending time with his family. His cat’s name is Mandy and he’s owned by a Vizsla named Lola.
Aurrielle Jensen
DVM, DACVDDr. Aurrielle Jensen enjoys all aspects of veterinary dermatology but has special interests in autoimmune disorders, dermatologic surgery, and ear diseases.

Thomas McManus
DVMDr. Thomas McManus is SCUBA certified, and his skills include handling marine animals as well as cats, dogs and birds. He is especially interested in managing trauma and foreign body ingestion cases.

Dr. McManus enjoys spending time by the water, whether kayaking, swimming, diving or lounging on the beach with a good book. He is also an aquarium hobbyist and looks forward to getting a dog of his own soon.
Nicholas Rinaldi
DVMDr. Nick Rinaldi is the medical director of our Virginia Beach hospital. He was drawn to the specialty of oncology to be able to give clients that extra quality time with their pets. He is particularly interested in lymphoma, leukemia and transitional cell carcinoma of the bladder.

Freyda Staten
MS, PhD, DVMParticularly compassionate for cats with emergent problems, Dr. Freyda Staten considers herself the queen of curing the cat with a urethral obstruction. She also enjoys the variety of trauma cases and finds wound care rewarding.

Dr. Staten is an avid runner who uses her running time to listen to audiobooks. She also enjoys music and photography, especially cat photography. She has four dogs: two dachshunds, a pug and a husky mix, but, she’s a self-proclaimed cat person, and the love of her life is cat Mr. Steev.
Frank Triveri
DVMDr. Frank Triveri’s clinical interests include the continual advancements in orthopedic and soft tissue minimally invasive surgery. Hemilaminectomies are one of his favorite procedures because he loves to see a once-paralyzed animal walk in for a follow-up appointment.

Dr. Triveri’s favorite pastimes include flag football, beach volleyball, bike riding and watching movies, and he also holds a black belt in Tae Kwon Do and is a former instructor. He can often be found cheering for the Pittsburgh Steelers or Penguins. Dr. Triveri has four dogs: JJ, Ziggy, Jazzy and Tessie, and four cats: Mr. Mistoffelees, Gary, Leo and Jasper.
