A Sunday Stroll Gone Wrong

My wife was walking our Corgi, Jake, when he was suddenly and viciously attacked by two pit bulls. As it was Sunday evening, we were relieved to find a BluePearl Pet Hospital open about 30 minutes away in Brandon, Florida.

I rushed him in and Dr. Tony Blanco, Dr. Devin Diaz, and others tended to him. Jake was severely lacerated and had a skull fracture.

Thanks to lots of texts for prayers and the skill and compassion of this team, Jake survived and he’s back to his old self.
