In search of an ophthalmologist.
We brought our beloved Cleo to BluePearl Pet Hospital in Clearwater to be seen for possible retinal detachment on July 1st. Everyone from the desk to the staff was phenomenal. They worked with our pet insurance to get the authorization for all the treatments necessary. They gave us constant updates from inside, even when the ophthalmology service took over the case. Dr. Baldwin and her assistant, Dr. Adelman, were outstanding. They even arranged our transfer to Tampa for a neurological consult.
Transfer to Tampa.
The staff in Tampa were above and beyond. Dr. Kimura, the neurologist, took the time to go over everything with me and called me at home to update everything. As an ER RN myself, I cannot express my gratitude to all involved for their kindness and compassion.
