Our oncology team is made up of veterinarians, vet technicians and assistants, and support staff with rigorous training and experience in specialty medicine. The team works hand in hand to provide the comprehensive, compassionate care your pet needs and deserves. Because we’re a multidisciplinary hospital, the team can consult the expertise of other specialty departments, too.
Dr. Pamela Lucas’ clinical interests include hematopoietic cancers such as lymphoma and multiple myeloma and also primary bone tumors such as osteosarcoma. She also focuses on alleviating pathologic pain.
Dr. Lucas is married to her high school sweetheart, and considers family the center of her life. She enjoys traveling, cooking, watching football, gardening, backpacking and reading. Sage and Barley are the family dogs, and O’Malley is the cat.
Dr. Matti McMillan is an intern in our oncology service. Her clinical interests include:
Dr. McMillan enjoys exploring with her husband and their two dogs – a pit bull mix named Tex and a labrador named Wendell. Her hobbies include gardening, crafting and baking.
