Advanced care for what matters most – helping your pet live a longer and better life.
We understand that seeing your pet experience unusual symptoms or act out of the ordinary can be stressful – especially if you don’t know what’s wrong. Fortunately, our veterinary neurology team is made up of experts in diagnosing and treating diseases of the nervous system, and we’re here to help.
Our commitment is not just to treat illnesses; it’s to enhance the well-being of your pet and be with you every step of the way.
If your pet has a neurological condition, you’ll have an entire neurology team helping to improve your pet’s quality of life so you can get back to what matters most – spending precious moments together.
Your pet will receive unparalleled medical care during their time at the hospital (and they’ll be spoiled with love and attention, too).
Your pet can’t tell us what’s wrong, so we use sophisticated diagnostics and imaging tools to uncover the source of the problem.
Just as no two patients are the same, neither are their treatment plans. Our neurology team has experience with a range of advanced procedures and minimally invasive options to get your pet on the path to wellness, including:
Experience makes all the difference.
Our neurology team is made up of veterinarians, vet technicians and assistants, and support staff with rigorous training and experience in specialty medicine. The team works hand in hand to provide the comprehensive, compassionate care your pet needs and deserves. Because we’re a multidisciplinary hospital, the team can consult the expertise of other specialty departments, too.
Dr. Stephanie Chang is a resident in our neurology service. Her interests include seizure management and neurosurgery.
Dr. Chang enjoys cooking, watching true crime documentaries and relaxing with her senior cat, Pekoe.
Dr. Barbara Lindsay has a strong interest in training the next generation of veterinarians. She works closely with other specialty clinicians and referring veterinarians to provide comprehensive treatment plans for her patients. Her special interests include neuro-oncology cases and meningitis treatment.
Dr. Lindsay enjoys running, practicing barre Pilates, drinking espresso and spending time with her cat. She grew up on a sheep farm in Australia, and while she misses her sheep dogs, she loves exploring the “Lone Star State” and meeting local people.
Dr. Breanne Morrell is particularly interested in small animal neurology.
Dr. Morrell enjoys playing video games and watching movies. She has two cats named BooBoo and Wafer.
Dr. Peyton Sosebee is an intern in our neurology service. His clinical interests include neurosurgical stabilization of the spine and emergency management of seizures.
Dr. Sosebee has a German shorthaired pointer that he enjoys taking for runs, hikes, to the lake and snowboarding.
Dr. Benjamin Williams has a strong interest in teaching veterinary interns and residents and is actively involved in training neurology/neurosurgery residents. He has consulted with several zoos and exotic feline sanctuaries on neurologic cases and is interested in the wide variety of MRI findings for intracranial diseases. He most enjoys neurosurgical cases and finds intervertebral disc herniations and spinal fractures particularly rewarding to treat.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Williams enjoys reading, hiking, going out to eat or to the movies, and watching most sports (soccer and football in particular). He grew up with Gordon and Irish Setters but currently shares a townhouse with one adopted cat.
We want you to be prepared for your pet’s visit to the neurologist, so you have one less thing to worry about. Our entire BluePearl team will be with you every step of the way.
