Our Ellie, Ellie-Bellie, El-Bell
On January 13, 2021, we mercifully had to lay our pup, Ellie (Ellie-Bellie or El-Bell), to rest. We adopted Ellie 15 years ago when she was just a few months old and were able to give her a full and loving life. She loved to be outdoors, play in the snow and was never shy about sneaking treats whenever she could get away with it.
Saying Goodbye
Dr. Ervin and the entire Lee’s Summit BluePearl staff were extremely accommodating, professional, and empathetic towards my family during a difficult time. They allowed myself, my kids, and their grandfather to be present with Ellie in a private room as she took her last breath. My family will forever miss her and are thankful she got to leave this world in such a peaceful manner with the people who loved her most.
