Elisabeth Alexander

DVM, CPEV
On the job

Dr. Elisabeth Alexander specializes in caring for pets at the end of their lives, whether due to age, illness or injury. She works with her patients and their families to provide pain control and condition-specific support as they transition into the last stages of life. Dr. Alexander’s ultimate goal is to ensure that her patients experience a peaceful, pain-free passing with the dignity they deserve.

Education
  • Certified Peaceful Euthanasia Veterinarian
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, St. Paul
  • Bachelor of Arts, Biology, St. Olaf College, Northfield, MN
Off duty

Dr. Alexander is an avid reader, an amateur gardener and a dressage enthusiast. She shares her home with two dogs, two cats and two chickens (who live outside…mostly). She loves to spend time with her spouse, who is also a veterinarian. Together they play board games, travel to faraway places and tackle ill-advised home improvement projects.
