Our surgery team is made up of veterinarians, vet technicians and assistants, and support staff with rigorous training and experience in specialty medicine. The team works hand in hand to provide the comprehensive, compassionate care your pet needs and deserves. Because we’re a multidisciplinary hospital, the team can consult the expertise of other specialty departments, too.
Dr. Michael Dearmin is board certified in small animal surgery.
Dr. Dearmin is married with two boys. He has three dogs, two horses, five chickens and a cat. He enjoys spending time outdoors, visiting the beach, attending sporting events with his kids, playing games and relaxing at home with his family.
Dr. Amanpreet Grewal is a resident in our surgical service. His particular surgical interests include orthopedics, fracture repairs and arthroscopy procedures.
When not working, Dr. Grewel enjoys playing basketball and tennis.
Dr. Heather Knapp-Hoch’s professional interests include soft tissue, oncologic, minimally invasive, neurologic and orthopedic surgeries. She is also passionate about interventional radiology, including urethral and tracheal stenting and subcutaneous ureteral bypass (SUB) placement.
Dr. Gregory Marsolais is an experienced, board-certified veterinary surgeon.
In his spare time, Dr. Marsolais enjoys traveling, fishing and making his own fishing lures to catch marlin and tuna. If he hadn’t pursued veterinary medicine, he would have loved to become a deck hand on a fishing boat in Kona, Hawaii.
Dr. Kathryn Paskoff is a resident in our surgery service. She is most interested in surgical oncology, wound management, cardiothoracic surgery, fracture management and minimally invasive procedures.
Dr. Paskoff enjoys spending time with her husband and dog, Finnegan. Family favorite pastimes include beach walks, travel, hiking, gourmet dining and relaxing at home together.
